Why we pay extra for GreenPower
Why does GreenPower cost more?
Why don’t they put the cost of coal power up instead so people who support coal power can subsidise the environmental impacts?

Governments in Australia recognise the importance of addressing climate change, and are considering a range of effective policy responses to ensure a flexible way of achieving greenhouse gas abatement. The solutions that is currently under development is a national emissions trading scheme referred to as a Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme (CPRS). However, in the absence of such a scheme, one way for us to ensure investment continues into renewable energy is to buy GreenPower accredited renewable energy.
